If you are pregnant and not currently a patient at Kay Lam Acupuncture, we kindly ask that you obtain written or verbal permission from your midwife or consultant before booking an appointment. Acupuncture is a safe and well-established complementary therapy during pregnancy when performed by a qualified practitioner; however, we ask for this as a matter of professional courtesy and to ensure your care team is fully informed. If you are unsure or would like to discuss this further please do not hesitate to call Kay directly.
Kay is experienced in treating patients with a variety of health conditions including painful menstruation, irregular periods, heavy flow or scant periods. If you are planning a pregnancy and are experiencing any of these symptoms please call Kay at the clinic for a chat. Many women experience weak bladders or frequent urination and choose Acupuncture as an alternative treatment.
